the way i see it:
spec c should be the same price as the STI right now or maybe a bit more. add to that 3k for the build block and you are good to go.

The Fq-330 didn't exist back then when the did the test. If you look on the first page, top right hand corner. There is a date 23 August 2003. FQ-330 didn't arrive here in the uk until early 2004.
Uk will be getting the MR FQ-300, MR FQ-320 & MR FQ-340 in May
Again the Fq-330 didn't exist back then.
