Every time I see an Evo vid I makes me wish I had my car already I really can't wait until november when I get mine or if I decide to wait for the MR I get that. I swear I'm gonna be waking up in the middle of the night and going out and driving my evo. I already do it with my dad's 3000gt.

Mistasparkle: that video is by Scooter - jigga jigga i decided to cut the music in half (i wanted something different)

evoracerx:: Your video was sick. I noticed it was a US EVO 8, but you had switzerland plates: correct those are switzeland plates. sorry but i got that video from TUNING TV :: you need to ask someone else because i dont know nothing about it all i know wheels/ suspension looks far from US evo.

There's a thread in "show n shine" with this vid.

I posted this, and i'm just looking for some info =)

You can't pull the e-brake in our cars like that, right? There's nothing to disengage the rwd from the rest of the drive train. So pulling the E-Brake to stop the real wheels wouldn't work, unless the center Diff, or front diff blew itself to pieces.

2 thumbs up, very nice video, kind of makes me want to go to a place where it snows. What kind of a drop do you have? It looks very nice.

I'm not sure if the diff would grenade. But, seeing as all 4 wheels are driven and there is nothing to interrupt that when you pull the hand brake then one would imagine that all 4 wheels would lock up at the same time, which kinda negates the whole pulling the handbrake thing .

was the handbrake pulled when he did the donut?

that should be a great way to u-turn in tight spots haha..

how bad is traction on FFs or FRs?

I wasn't saying it would blow up.... but that's gotta stress the center diff

What I was saying was that, if you actually get the rear wheels to stop and front still going (like you would want to do), then that would mean FUBAR city =/

If you could pull the E-Brake and lock all 4 wheels, that would still be good to put ya in a slide. Slaming the brake just engages the ABS, and you don't slide anywhere. (at least thats what I think )

Yeah had to put hella stress on the diff (not to mention tire wear, bla bla), but I don't think he just locked up the ebrake, probably just held it long enough to get the car sliding and then WOT to get and keep the tires spinning. Would also help if his suspension isn't tuned to understeer (aka stock).

Hehe, in any case a very cool maneuver.
