On page 53 they said "when the car first goes on sale in January the 4G63 will produce about 275 bhp, but according to inside sources. The Evo VIII will also come with a 6-speed manual transmission and an avdanced all wheel drive system similar to one found in the World Rally Championship car.

In the article Road and Track impleys that the Subaru is going to put more than the evo. So mitsubishi is very forced to produce a car that will be very hard to match.

That's why is going to sell the car with 320+ HP in the US. There is no way Subaru can match that and still pass emissions. Of course you could say that about Mitsu too...

 

well after speaking with 3 different dealers, they told me march or april, however at one point and time they where told Oct of this year, so it might be put back again.

 

I would not doubt it being March. It just depends how long they take to get here, get dealer prepped, and ready. They are going to be shipped from Japan at the end of January. I think a month is plenty of time to complete the shipping process and get the car to the dealer.

 

Just as long as they get here In the mean time gonna save some dinero. Cant wait

 

Don't listen to dealers. They probably already sold their January batch "probably of 1" and want you to wait for them. It was confirmed and Mitsubishi said to the public it's coming Jan 03 and WSJ reported 4000 units. This info is not a rumor but the plan they are shooting for.
