Paid $26,900 for mine two weeks ago. It is an 03. If you are going to buy one, I suggest getting an 03 right now before they are all gone. Otherwise your going to have a hard time finding one. The dealerships aren't going to make the mistake of overstocking this car for the 04 model year like they did in 03. This means you probably won't get an 04 for under MSRP. Why pay an extra 3 -4 grand for basically the same car ?

You guys are lucky, I paid $31,500 for mine 4 days ago in the LA area.

Mine did come with a sunroof, rear spoiler, chrome shifter knob, gauge kit, sport pedals, and sport handbrake though. I also got extended warranty and gap insurance, so I ended up paying abou $32,800 for it.

I'm happy though..

Paid $27,800, silver, wing, no roof about 3 weeks ago. If you want to make the trip to Doylestown, PA, try Fred Beans Mitsubishi. They were excellent, minimal price haggling, and had several 03's in stock. Ask for Bryan Snyder, 215-340-7950, he is a great sales rep as well as an enthusiast. Let me know if you call, if you mention my name, I think I get some balloons :-) or something!

Nope, don't bother, none left there... really... none at all... don't even call.

Oh ok, dang it, they have ONE. But it's MINE, you hear me? All MINE. If they ever get back to me that is. They were 'sposed to email me today.

It's got 266 miles on it though, which worries me a bit. Not exactly "new" anymore. But hey, I'm sure all the test drivers respected the break-in rules.

They have a used one too with 2,000 miles.

I know someone who paid 27,905 before taxes and title, with a total of 3 miles on the car. The options included roof and wing.

If I am going to be putting down between $5-$6K down on an Evo, is it realistic to think I can get my payments at or under $500 a month? I would take either a lease or a buy.

Hey, thats great. How much did you put down? I would do a 3 or a 5 year, whatever it takes to get my payments under $500.

Nope, they wouldn't come down from 29K or so. With 266 miles on it already, and with brand new 2004's coming soon, it just isn't worth it, IMHO. I'm sure somebody will grab it though, as it's the ONLY "new" Evo around here.

Exactly what I wanted though... Evos look so evil in black

I'm expanding my options in the meantime (TSX, WRX, etc.), so I dunno if I'll end up with one after all now. Patience isn't one of my virtues

If you want one from Mass, the dealership I deal with has one or two and they are willing to sell for $750.00 or more under invoice. PM me for their contact info.
