Mark. Did you send a link to this thread back to the Spike TV folks? I think they should see what real car guys thought of their hastily written, poorly executed excuse for a show.

honestly, i'm glad i missed it. Spike tv had really good car shows for awhile, and then they replaced them with trucks and funk master flex. What happened to nopi tunervision and the other import shows? Even horsepower tv was working on imports for awhile, now nothing.
If spike tv sees this: how bout some more car shows on weekday afternoons instead of star trek tng. Isn't this tv for guys, not tv for geeks (no offense to the trekkies on the board.)
Ride with Funk Master Flex is awesome, i really care how high the front wheels of a piece of **** toyota pick up can bounch with hydraulics...

Spike TV was cool the first month it was on - lots of car shows and Bond movies. Now.....I pretty much skip over it.

Is it just me or has Spike TV been pretty much a disaster? Take away the Joe Schmoe show last year and what has Spike TV really brought us? I mean, MXC is good in small doses, and the car shows are good (although the old TNN showed the same shows), but most of the time they are just showing Star Trek or someother crap.
Does anyone actually watch SpikeTV on a regular basis?

TV is all about Gangsta thug rap and it's associated toys, NASCAR, Jerry Springer and Oprah.. WHat do you expect.. Even Speeed Channel sold out and now as Speed sucks. minus 6 hours a month for some F1 occasional WRC coverage.

I saw funk masta flex once when I was flippin through (operative word, through) the channels and he was riding in some rap dude's F1 Mclaren through US streets..WTF?
I think the episode was called "How some rap dude loses his ability to illigally drive his million dollar car by advertising the fact that he has one on SpikeTV."

McLaren F1s can be driven legally on US public roads. There are places adjust them to meet DOT requirements. Ran into one. The guy driving must have been 85+ and had square glasses at least 3/4 inch thick. Was quite sureeal, but still most memorable.
