Go for the EVO, I just downloaded the video espido1001 was talking about, I mean, to me, having a 2 second lead on a 360 with f1 shifters ( a 8 second lead on the first m3. ) in any car is awesome, especially if its cheaper!

well u serious into racing? if not..keep the m3...no question about it...the fastest luxury car that you can actually be comfortable in.

 

I see it as the difference between driving a fast leather couch and and an armchair that hugs curves. Again, I'd take the Evo any day...though I bet the M3 makes the ladies squirm a bit more.

BAh, depends, if ur lookin for luxury (and bit a of speed), keep the M3, otherwise, go for the EVO.

Just remember tho, M3's more of a chic magnet than an Evo. Just cuz its a BMW :P. From bitter experience, it works.

loki, I think it all depends on what you want out of the car. In a nutshell the Evo is all out performance and the M3 will not compare in that department, but the Evo cannot compare to the M3 when it comes to luxury.

You might want to PM or email WRC4ever. He has a wicked M Coupe that he autoxes and has an extensive list of modifications. He has an Evo 7 that should be delivered to him sometime in Oct (from EI), and he had a chance to drive it for a little when it first arrived to the US. Being that selling your M3 and getting an Evo would get you, 4 doors, 280+hp, AWD, Brembo brakes, Recaros, and spending cash for whatever you want, I say go for the Evo.

I say go for the Evolution VII all the way! No questions asked. I mean sure, you may get speed and luxary in the M3, but the imported Evolution VII's performance is going to be unmatchable. You'll also stand out so much more than a Beamer; do you know how many M3's there are on the road nowadays? I don't know about your surroundings, but around here, there's about as many M3's as there are Corvettes. Plus, with a few mods, you got yourself a show-winning car! Stand out, get the Evolution!

Plus, you won't even have to worry about the Evo VII being a watered down US version that's been detuned! You will get exactly what the Evo VII was originally made with, and then some! With few mods, you could kill the M3. But, the choice is up to you.

If you plan on using the car as a daily driver, stick with the M3 (unless it's an auto, ditch it faster than a blink of an eye!) I can't stand it when people put so much money into a car such as the M3, and get an auto. Then they brag about the speed?!? The difference between a stick and an auto is unbeleivable! Stick has a much better advantage, and gives you much better control as to knowing what's going on, on the road! Besides that, EVO, EVO, EVO!

 

Here's the best reason for you to get the Evo, it would be more than enough to convince me!
