Another stalling thread???
Since I purchased my Evo it has stalled once in a while... Like most people at low revs when you let off the gas it dies... Most of the threads I've read have pointed towards an aftermarket BOV as the culprit. I still have the stock BOV. What I've noticed is that when you are coming to a stop and fully engadge the clutch the rpms start to fall.,.. sometimes it catches before it stalls and other times it just dies. I checked all my hoses and my BOV valve again today.. Anyway, I did find something out... My car runs less vacuum when it is on an incline as oppose to a flat surface. A lot of times my car will coast into the garage stalled because I am on an incline. So 13 Vac on an incline and 17 Vac on a flat surface.. Any ideas?
Although my car has stalled since since day 1, I will list my mods for grins
Dynoflash, HKS 264s, HKS RS intake, Walbro, 660ccs, Turboback... MBC

cams... get some cam gears. I don't know why, but Buschur and AMS both like to say they aren't necessary. Once my black car got cam gears (and they were adjusted) it idled like stock.

I think its the HKS RS intake. As since i've put that on, I have had multiple stalls. Usually when i want to creep forward in traffic and let the clutch out and then back in quickly. The rpms drop to 200 or so and it wants to stall, half the time it does.
