Should I assume that the RS has no trunk trim to reduce weight?

 

I'm interested. Let me know. As for cutting the plastic (if needed), you should pull out the piece of plastic and measure where the bar sits and figure out what needs to be cut to make it fit and then draw nice lines and cut it with an airsaw or a cut off wheel. Doesn't sound too difficult.

yup! same reason why the RS doesnt have AC or stereo

 

i've examined the trunk and i think i see where this bar mounts (you have to take the two black circles off the floor to see the holes). if it is the right spot, then depending on how tall the bar is, you will probably only have to cut off the plastic that is below the carpet level (the part of the plastic that bends toward the back of the car) to make it fit. thats not a big deal and you'll never see it.

yeah a gb would be awesome because if you are planning on selling them for like 50 and we could get a gb and get them for like 40 that would save us 20% which is kewl.
