I tried on several occasions to get my dealer to show me the video. When I asked I just got a blank stare from the sales manager. They tried to show me the promotional video and I explained to them that it was not what I was looking for. When I took the car in for its first oil change the service manager asked if I had seen the video and I told him that no one on the sales side knew about it and that I had tried several times to get them to find it for me. He just shook his head.
I image the test could be used to decrease the dealership’s liability (and hassle) if you fail to perform the prescribed maintenance program. If they kept a copy of the test in your file and you bring the car in with messed up brakes due to improper break-in then it would be up to you to pay for it.
Best wishes,

Thanks for the feedback. Screw them I am not driving to watch their video. I am kinda pissed that I didn't get any freebies offered to me!!! If they really want me to watch it I guess they can send it to me.
I got the car for $28,800. I found an add on the net that was supposed to be removed 2 weeks prior!!! When it was delivered it had a sticker price of $35,127!!!!!!
So I screwed them in the long run, but my salesperson got fired for it. They thought he had shown me the add online, but I actually found it and emailed them. Pretty screwed up, but I got my Evo.

The test was just asking some questions about the video, when to change oil, when to rotate tires and blah blah....
One thing I do remember it saying was that if you lower the car an "extreme " amount it would void the warranty.... But it did not say what extreme amount was.
Im not sure what would happen if you failed the test, maybe have to watch the video over again.
The sales guy said they wanted Evo owners to watch it because of the extreme danger of the car, if drove and handled improperly could result in death , but it didnt say that in the video if I remember right.
I think (as mentioned above) that it was a sales promo for the PitPass, because that was mentioned as well.
Anyway, I would NOT drive 2hrs to watch it.
I did not get any free video's or posters, but I did get a neat duffle bag, a hat, a parka, and first aid kit, and some detail kit, Oh and the cool key chains of the symbol......

Did Mits make you watch a video when you bought your Evo?
I just want to know if anyone else had to watch a video about the Evo when you bought the car and sign a paper that basically said "I'm buying this car because I have a need for speed".
