04 evo has cabin filter!

Do you guys know that 04 evos have in car cabin air filter! How come the 03 didn't?? There is a slot for it in the 03 to put the cabin filter. you would have to cut the slot out and of course, purchase the filter and the plastic cover + two screws. Gonna go order mine tomorrow. Just a lil info for you 03 owners out there!

behind the glove box, above the fan, you will notice a rectangular looking slot that looked like something would go in, after its cout out.

Yay! An air filter! I wonder how much use i'd get out of it if I keep my windows down 95% of the time Just Kidding. Sounds nifty, not something i'd be all that interested in though.

Ok, just came back from the dealer. all we need is the filter, which cost $80. Damn! behind the glove box, above the blower you will see a ractangular slot that has to be cut out. Simply insert the filter and 2 screws. That's all. Filter part # is 87210A.

i dont think a filter can stop radiation

there are plenty of crap out there called POLLUTION, if u are allergic to pollution or pollen or whatever is in the air, this is probably a good investment. but then again, tkae one step outside and u're exposed to it all! but u're safe in your car at least..

It's good if you have sensitive lungs and nasal passages.

I could see this being a great option if you had an extra 80 dollars lying around, burning a hole in your pocket, but I don't particularly think it is an absolute necessity. there are many little things that you can get for 80 dollars that would make your grin factor increase. (which is my ultimate goal)
