hey dude, there are a few differences between the 2003 and 2004. the minor ones include slightly different window and door lock buttons and uhh... that's pretty much it unless you're considering an '04 RS which is another story... another difference would be the sun-roof package. when you get a sun-roof on an '04 you must purchase the sun+sound+leather package, where as in the '03 you can get the sun-roof without the leather. not sure about any problems they may have fixed... from driving a few '03s and '04s, the only thing i kinda noticed was the fact that the '04 felt a bit more solid and tight in the suspension and driving experience altogether. could've been just me judging by the fact i have an '03 with 9000 miles on it while i decided to test out the '04s... i think they may have tightened up a few things on the engine and springs, but just from what i've experienced... as far as the MR, yes, it will have power windows and air-conditioning.

They had plenty of them the last time I drove by the North Scottsdale dealership...you may want to check there.

That's where I went. They have 2, both with the sun and sound package. From what I can tell they're the only ones in the vally with Evo's on the lot.

I spent about 2 hours they and of course they came at me with ridiculous prices. I told them to give me a call once they get the numbers where they need to be.

The guy said they should be getting a few MR's in before Halloween. If tht happens they'll be itching to get those 2004's out of the way- and he said we'd be able to make a deal.

Now we play the waiting game.

what kind of prices they give you on the 04? just wondering how it compared to the prices i got from my dealer! he said 31,300 OTD. thats without the Sun, leather, sound package which i don't want anyway. i know the MSRP is 30,595.....with tax, its well over 32.....i think they can sell for a good bit less than msrp though....

Tehy were saying 32 with the sun and sound package. Basically he said that since they're the only ones on the lot ion AZ that it's hard for him to come down much. So basically I'm savign up for more of a down payment and I'm waiting for them to get the MR's in. He said if he can get another EVO on the lot then we'd be in business. But I also think it being the beginning of the month has a lot to do with it. hehe

Yes- there are several 2003's that I've found locally. Even a few 2004's that are under 2900. I just need to sell my car first!

Just got my 04 WW Evo (no sun package) last thursday(9/30) and I got it for $27,300 before tax and title. I would have waited for the 05's but at that price... it was too good to say no to!

Definitely ask for invoice or better for the 04's! MSRP for mine, according to the sticker was $30,594, so definitely walk to another dealership and get yours for invoice or better! Research and more research!

Nice- that's not a bad deal... Unfortunately both of these had the sunroof and they had no access to any other EVO's (or so they said)... the Recaro's are badass and the system sounded really good. Does anyone know exactly how much weight is added with that package? Just out of curiosity.

I'm planning on putting about 5K down. I can't afford a $600+ car payment lol.

So the RS has a different front diff then the GS-R? Better or worse?

I put my deposit down on a silver 2004 w/ the sunroof and sound package. SOOO nice! Can't wait to sell my car and drive it off the lot! They got an MR in today and xpect another shortly-- giving me a better deal on my 2004.
