So how fast is the Evo 8 from 0-60? I know this has been brought up before but whats the quickest time do you think it can achieve? I dont care how you launch it or if the clutch burns out. How fast do you think the car is capable of doing even in the hands of a pro driver?

the REAL question is how deep are your pockects. this thread is going to be a huge argument soon soo i will say this now. it all depends on how far you wish to go with your EVO. Bushcur Racing's EVO can do it in under 3 seconds. that is a good number to put out their.

People we dont need to argue about this so lets keep it clean.

Road and Track's "SPEED" article purpoted they hustled the MR in 4.3 to 60 with the 1/4 mile in only 12.9.

Granted, I'm sure that wiped a good few thousand miles off the clutch, and the car was JDM-spec, not US spec. Considering the first two gears in the 6-speed are the same ratios as the 5-speed, I'm not sure as to how on earth they managed that. The 2005's with the front LSD, ACD, and slightly more power might be able to pull down a 4.6, maybe a high 4.5, but again, I doubt your clutch (or other driveline components) would appreciate it.

4.6 US EVO 8 and 4.3 for EVO 7 JDM
Imagine an EVO 7 with 350hp!!! I guess a sub 4 seconds is possible, but with drivetrain stress.

Past history has proved that you can add .10 to whatever time the HKS TT givs you... That's from numerous runs and comparisons at the track.. Just an FYI for you..
