No this car along with a black one were not purchased through EI, but through Global Performance under a 'racing only' (pshah) agreement. It was posted earlier here:

Just didn't have all the goodies attached yet

Has ANYONE got their Evo from E.I. yet? Some people payed for them sometime around April...but I haven't heard if they got them. They were supposed to be ready in July weren't they?

Broeli,

how many times are you going to ask the same question without reading what I've already said in the past?
I've repeatedly said that the DAY I am getting my Evo is the day you will all know about it. I have paid for my car in March (1st person to get an E.I. car).
The 1st batch was supposed to be legal late august - early september.
Considering the fact that paperwork and governmental bull**** ALWAYS take a LONG time, a month (so far) worth of delay isn't really THAT bad. We are told any day now (with no specifics), so I am still confident.

Regardless, I think it's still worth the effort. I know you think differently. To each his own.

WRC4ever,
Obviously you don't read what I write either I have always said it is good for you (at 30k)..but for those that are paying 37k-40k, I think otherwise..just my opinion whether you like it or not. What exactly is holding things up? I am really curious as I'm sure others are as well...why don't you ever post updates on the holdups and what is going on instead of getting pissed when someone simply asks if anyone has received their Evo yet from E.I. And YES I would be pissed if I was one of the people that paid 40k and I got a response "any day now" every few weeks WITHOUT specifics call me crazy I guess.

Very nice indeed. Great choice on wheels. They must be very light. Do you know the weight on them?

Congrats...

Here, I gave it a shot:

I didn't expect the brake calipers to turn blue too (though I should have), but it looks kind of cool that way.
