Argh!!!!! I got rear-ended
I got rear-ended today by a kid in a Ranger tonight. I just got my Evo out of the shop from a run-in with a racoon or fox and it going back in. At least the kid was insured but man I am not looking forward dealing with my and his insurance Co to get my Evo fixed.

I got rear ended last year (Just before new years).. It sucks, but our brakes work really well, unfortunately the brakes of the jackass tailing closely behind you likely aren't anywhere near as good.. I'm now always making sure there's plenty of room behind me, and always an "Exit route" if there's a problem I can try to get out of the way of other cars behind me, its actually saved me on two occasions.

when i was rear-ended it looked somethingl ike that, albeit i have a lancer not an evo... costs were around 7k to fix and the trunk still doesnt align just right (no leaking though) and my rear driver door sounds unlike hte others... probably because they replaced my rear quarter panel though...
If you can, try to talk your shop into allowing you to buy the parts (at least the ones that you can like a trunklid/taillight/bumper) you will save more money and have what you want... regular lancer tails are like 150per... I coulda gotten RRM tails for 169 a pair.... just some FYI so maybe you can get a CF trunklid and MR tails or something different!

Same here. Got rearended on Monday. F ucking kid tried to tell the cop it was my fault. The cop looked at him and laughed. He basically called him out and asked why didn't he stop. The kid kept trying to get out of it but the cop wasn't having it. Funny thing is the kid only has liability. So he's got to fork out the cash to get his **** fixed.

Wow... That's really bad. Sorry to hear about that, I hope you can fix it okay, though it'll never be the same evo you've had fond memories with again. Damn people who aren't sure which one is their brake and which one is their gas. They always decide to try the right pedal before the left one.
