The whole clip coming off problem is very easy to fix with a little experimentation. Mine came off once, I put it back on, and it hasn't come off since.

My dealer almost covered that. They say they had to ... ummm.. find out if they cover it.

I got crap all over it...

By the way, how do you clean the alcantara or that suede stuff? Can you shampoo that?

Just an idea:

In most cities, dealers have an upholstery shop that they hire to do "leather conversions" for discerning customers that want a certain car but want it in leather. I got a quote at one of these shops last week. 2 front seats, 2 piece rear seat, door armrest inserts all done in thick OEM type leather for $950. $1150 gets suede (either all or part)

I have decided to get suede in the center section and no-gloss leather on the bolsters. I am currently trying to get my friend with the Sparco Torinos to go down there with me to show them the bolsters on the sparco seats (plastic/rubber parts that help prevent wear) Maybe they can do something like that.

my seat bottom always comes loose on the drivers seat, it is really easy to pop back in, you just fold it under and it goes in place. i dont need a dealer to fix something that is going to pop out again.

Neither do I but if I have a warranty, I'm going to use it. Plus if it is a repetitive problem, the dealer would be more likely to do something a little more permanent.
