Not to bump the thread again but I called the dealer today and they said the price for these bulbs has gone up from 3 something to 6 something. Anyone else hear anything?

Funny enough, as I post this, I am taking my gauge cluster apart and putting the new bulbs I just got into it. They were like 5.28 at the mitsu in jacksonville.

In www.mitsubishiparts.net, the price of the bulbs has not changed and every guage cluster bulb is less than 3 dollars on that site. If you order enough stuff like oil filters or tcase fluid with your bulbs, it may offset the shipping price and make it worth it.

This thread got bumped up at just the right time. My right 2 bulbs are now out and all I can really see at night is my speedometer. Good thing I found this thread!

Same here! Incredible, there is a thread for everything. I've been ignoring it for months.

Sorry to bump an old thread but figured since this thread was so informative I was wondering if the part numbers listed below are compatible with the lancers and such... Since we have a similar swappable gauge cluster I'd assume so but I just wanted to make sure.

MR444536 - Clear bulb for warning light (SES, SRS, FUEL, DOOR)
MN134600 - Bulb with blue condom for lcd odometer
8180A001 - Bulb with white condom for speedomter and Tachometer(There are two of those so if one goes out, half of the cluster goes out.

MR444537 also says instrument bulb when I look at mitsubishiparts.net . I am not sure what that bulb is for.

do you have to replace all of the bulbs when your right side of the cluster goes out?

If I remember correctly one bulb lights the right half and one bulb lights the left half. The cluster is so easy to take out. Just take it out and look.

Are these part numbers the same for 2004 Lancers? Can't imagine they would change them, but I wanna be sure.

My bulbs worked fine but I wanted to replace them with LEDs and pulled out the left and middle one to see the sizes, put them back in and they don't work anymore. Anyone have any ideas?

Mabye you put them back in wrong, it might sound stupid but stupid stuff happens.
