Thumbs up Going back to Stock

what are the necessities of going back to stock when trading the Evo to the dealership?

Mods:

Full 3" exhaust
Cams 272 in/ex
780cc injectors
head studs
walbro fuel pump
front mount
lower IC piping
intake
mbc
guage
safc2
dynoflash
BOV
Turbo Timer
Pioneer DVD touch screen in dash
i feel like im forgetting something important here.

what should I part out and what won't have an effect on dealer perspective?
Im willing to sell some of these parts too...make me an offer .

you should taking everything out except maybe the head studs. anything else you live in there will actually drop the value of your car. you can make some good money on the mods when you sell them yourself.

I wonder if the dealer will take your car w/ the cams on there. I think any mods that modify emissions would really drop the trade-in value of the car since the dealer will say they'll have to take it out to sell the car.

Yes they sure will. Dealerships don't know jack about cars. I traded my GST in pushing 350whp. The freaking idiot took my car out for a test drive to make sure nothing was wrong with it. He came back and was like holy **** what did you do to that thing. I said I had a quite a bit done to it. Well, the deal was for me to buy the evo I wanted to take some of the parts off my eclipse. So I picked up the EVO that night and went back the next morning to pick up the eclipse and take some parts off it. As I drove home I got on it just to compare the acceleration to the EVO. I watched the boost gauge out of the corner of my eye and it started moving up to 25psi. I was like holy **** and let off the gas. I looked down at my boost controller and the boost was set at 100 which is equivalent to a wastegate that never opens. I was ****ing pissed. The idiot that drove the car could have easily thrown a connecting rod through the block. Just my rant. The eclipse was traded in with a Speaco 2-216 FMIC, HKS 264/272 cams, short shifter, exhaust, bov, fuel pump, ACT clutch, fidanza flywheel and intake still on it. Whoever buys it has a good base to work with.
