stay w/ OEM fluids then you cant blame anyone or any product if your drive train parts fail. Dont create problems. It the fluid quality is an issue than change it more often, dont change brands.

If something does blow up I will argue with mitshu much like people did when they wanted to use different oils.

Hi: I previously used the 75w-90 GL5 Red Line on my transfer which ended on two blown transfer. At this time I'm using red line shockproof light with 0 problem in a long time. On the tranny I have been using MT-90 with better results than the BG syncroshift. The car has a lot of power and no problem at all.

Ok how about this after going to the store I'm looking at using:
Transmission - Red Line MT-90
Transfer Case - Red Line Heavy Shockproof
Rear Diff - Red Line 75W90 GL-5+
I know people have had problems using 75W90 in there Transfer Case and thank you for all that advice but looking around it seems that the Shockproof works great. Let me know if there's more disscusion on this.

The OEM fluid is called DiaQueen LSD... I personally say use the OEM fluid or BG Syncro Shift...
I used Mobil 1 gear lube and almost destroyed my syncros... I switched to BG and the syncros are working again, eliminated 2nd and 4th gear grinds.

14K miles so far without any problem except noisy tranny.
Redline MT-90 tranny.
Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil 75-90W TC & Diff.
I shift at 7500+rpm when going hard and shift into first while coming to a stop around 15+mph. Used to get lots of misshifts with the OE fluid but with Redline, no problem getting into gears.

Castrol Syntorq Lt 75W-85
Thanks for the diaqueen P/N I think that will cure all those blown T/C problems.
As far as te transmission I have been researching this for a week now. I can not get the Mitsubishi Diamond GL-4 without ordering a 5 gal pail, but I found out that Castrol makes a 75w-85 GL-4 named castrol Syntorq LT it is fully synthetic and sold in quarts at GM dealer P/N 12346190. It might be the same as the Mitsubishi Diamond. I heard that it is pricy maybe $20.00 a qt but worth it until I order the mitsu Diamond.
This is a good find. do your oun checking on this gear lube.
Penzoil does not recommend the synchromesh in out trannies! give them a call first. The better shifting that you are experiencing is actually wearing out your trannies faster. I read a thread about this on Honda-Tech board and confirmed with Penn/quakerstate. do not experiment with your $30k toy.
