Thumbs up That Stupid Centerpiece on the Evo 8

Seriously I love everything about the Evo8, i will probably buy one when dealer will actually take lower than MSRP on them.

I like everything about the evo, accept that centerpiece on the grill... I think its stupid... Who thinks mitsubishi should ditch it and keep it plain.

I agree... the bottom feeder looking bumper is ok - but the grill looks way too much like a sunfire.

Im not going to worry about it. One of the first things Id do with an Evo is cut out the grill anyway.

don't get me wrong, the grill isn't going to prevent me from buying the Evo, and I understand why Mitsubishi decided to inplement it - but it is still fugly looking

I think you should just save up for the JDM Evo 7... forget that overpriced WRX losing car!

What makes you think that the Japanese spec is going to be any different?

Probably should have put a vote for the middle of the road folks who don't necessarily love the pontiac-esque grill but don't hate it either . It will probably grow on a few and disgust others. However, the Evo (if similar to current incarnations) will have plenty of aftermarket support (albeit hopefully more expedient than that of our beloved little USDM Lancer). Regardless, I am anxiously anticipating the arrival of the Evo. I just hope that does it right and provides us with a reliable, hellishly fast, train rail handling, blast to drive. Reasonably priced of course.
