Please tell me if this is ok.

Changed gear lubes yesterday.

Put Pennzoil Synchromesh in the tranny, supposed to be 3Q but it only took like 2.8.

Put Castrol Hypoy C (low speed, high torque gear oil) GL-5 75W-90 in the rear diff and transfer case.

Is this all ok?

John

Tons of info on this check it out. I would say your good, but I have heard nothing good or bad about Castrol oils for the Evo. Run a search you will get tons of info. How does your car feel now?

the car feels real good shifting, but i dont know what i am looking for as far as diff and TC oil goes. but the Castrol is a low speed, high torque oil specially made for TC, diffs, and high torque applications, im confident about it, just wondering if anyone else has used it?

I used all Redline oils. I went with something besides the basic 75W-90 for the transfer case so I'm safe.
