hahaha, ya thats a monster of a turbo, there is a skyline that has 2 of those, they are producing i believe 1300hp without maxing out the potential of the car... they are running low 8's on the 1/4

I don't think the cost of the turbo would ever offset the mileage savings. Get a boost gauge and just stay out of the boost.

For a car with this performance level, I dont think you understand how good of gas mileage you have.

The Evo can out perform my Mcoupe. I have a S54 315hp Inline 6 engine. I on average get about 18-23 mpg's...

If you want higher MPG then 28 or so... Id invest my time looking for a civic with 30-40mpg.

Although for the capabilities of the Evo 24-25mpg is very nice.

Hmm, now that I think about it, I guess a larger final drive ratio would do the trick ... and help give better top speed...

...as far as all the naysayers go ... I think you're misreading my intentions. I understand full well that my gas mileage will take a crap if I start using the cars potential (which happens more often than not), but when I'm doing a late nite 150 mile run where I don't push beyond 75mph, I want better gas mileage. IMNSHO it's not too much to ask from a tiny 2 liter engine. Right now I'm getting the same gas mileage on my A8, which has an engine more than twice the size of the Evo and is automatic ... go figure
