Best aftermarket air-intake to prevent hydrolock

Best aftermarket air-intake to prevent hydrolock
Just wanted to get an idea of what air intake to buy. 5 weeks ago, I hydrolocked my engine because of water.

anyways, I have no idea how it got in there but i'm thinking its the design of the intake being open to the front of the hood and acting like a big funnel. Mistubishi wont admit to these flaw in design to prevent warranty coverage. My insurance is paying for the damage but i think i'm going to have them investigate Mitsu for this flaw.
The dealer still has my evo by the way...coming into six weeks... any major work on your evo, Avoid Bell Mitsu in Rahway!!!! They have no idea what they're doing...i have a feeling its going to detonat when i get it back
Anyways, i think an after market intake will be better...its sits inside the engine and no direct funnel to the outside...correct me if i'm wrong please..if not, what is the best intake??

So let me get this straight you have not modded the intake before this happened and your paying out of pocket . oh heck no i would never have that one slide......
but anyway im happy with my HKS racing suction
