hp per psi increase..
i know it's been discussed before but I can't find it anywhere in the search engine.anyways do any of you know how much hp or whp you gain with each psi that you increase your boost? my car was running at 17 psi and I increased it today with my mbc to 20.5 so I just wanted an idea of how much more hp I am running thanks.

It depends on a few things like the engine's RPM and airflow at that RPM (volumetric efficiency) and also the turbo compressor efficiency at that engine RPM (less efficient = you are forcing hot, less dense air).
For example, all things equal, on a stock setup, going from 19psi to 21psi at 4000rpm will get you more torque than going from 17psi to 19psi at 7000rpm because the system is more efficient there.

as far as i know he raised his boost 3 or 4 psi and an intake..said he dynod at like 245 whp so maybe one or two other things..(when i said friend i meant car buddy that i dont know well lol) but those things seem to get the jump on the roll a lot with the front wheel drive and being much lighter..same whp as me i was not complaining that he beat me..but this time he's mine
