Creating PDF's from the How-to section.

I've decided to work on creating pdf's from the Evo How-To forums.. I'm starting with the how-to's that are well structured first...

I'm creating word files first then making pdf's. I'll keep the word files so I can add/change things later on and make new pdf's

Anyone think this is a good idea or am I wasting my time

Yes

Here is what I've done so far:

http://www.justchil.net/dl/evo/howto/

Once I get them all created I'll probably go through and make them look better.. fix spelling etc.. and make sure I credit whoever wrote them

I hate pdfs and I work with them all day long.

Really, tell my why it takes SOOOO long to load or install a VIEWER!

Anyhow, if I need to save them, I simply save the web page... file save

Post Viewer load time

The Adobe Acrobat Reader takes a long time to load on my Mac, but using the application Preview takes less than a second. So I'd recommend trying another viewer.

I'm actually doing the same thing for a Tuning guide from the posts I've made over the past few weeks...

Maybe we should combine everyones effort into something really sweet?

Also I'm uploading the word format versions now.

Edit: Actually I'm going to take them all offline for just a little bit.. Going to get everything a little more "uniform" before putting them back online. Should take me 30 mins or so

Ok I've revised them just a bit to include the author and the post url.. trying to keep formatting somewhat the same

I've got like 11 so far .. I just picked out the ones that would require the least amount of effort to format properly
