I like cool, clear late summer/fall evenings. When you can still have the windows down, and there's still light, but not direct sun...

crisp gray fall morning, on a windy back road in the NE, hearing the leaves rustle and seeing them vortex behind you as you fly by... and your car feels like it has a new engine in it because of the cool air. great stuff.

You do realise that the USDM VIII is set up from the factory for roadracing, and not rallying and off-road/inclement weather performance, no?

Okay, just checking.

how does this factor into one's decision of their favorite driving condition??? the question wasnt "which condition does your car perform the best"

driving in the snow is just plain fun (as long as the circumstances are safe... ie: open parking lot or track)...the car is fun to drive in any condition...but drifting around in the snow is a blast...you learn to love it when 5-6 months of the year bring snow

Dry of course, but like 80 degrees with a 90 degree 5mph wind is perfect.
