DB chrono has the following
Fuel press, Oil temp and press, water temp, Boost, EGT and rpm (not sure about the last one)
single wire connection from the control box to the gauges .. then sequentially linked to the rest of the gauges.. good thing about the control box .. it can be hidden out of sight .. only when you need to hook up additional sensors do you need to pull out the box .. editted to include : and yes you need the interface box
2 buttons controls all the functions required for peak hold, record, peak warning, brightness, etcetc
Pros
- LIGHT !! I got mine doublesided taped to the windscreen !!
- not specifically labelled (I used the temp gauge to measure something else)
- Looks great
- whitefaced dials matched my dash
- different from the rest (99% of the pple use defi)
Cons
- Cheap plasticky construction
- Plastic bezel falling off on mine
- boost gauge gets stuck sometimes (yep .. and it's electric !!)
- Loud whirring noise from the boost gauge
- Instructions take a while to figure out ..
HKS had a issue with the DB when it was first launched .. there was a period of recall (not sure for what reason) .. I basically got the 2nd batch onwards .. but looks like there's still some minor problems (ie my boost gauge)
Otherwise I am quite happy with the DB chronos ..
