its funny...if you read that whole post...the guy with an STI is saying how with a few $$ in mods his sti is reaching 400 hp crank....i highly doubt that car is running in the low 12s but rather mid to high 11's. maybe he should come on here and see how his subie boys got spanked at Etown...haha....i think there was not 1 sti in sub 12's....

$48k british lbs is $86,212.68 in USD. still cheaper than an NSX or a Porsche & serves up plenty of cans of shut up juice. however, for about $5-15k over msrp ona stock EVO, we can make some EVO's that will stomp anything save for funny cars & pro draggers. AND WE CAN DRIVE HOME TOO WITH A/C!!!!!!!!

that is what i was thinking.
i paid 27,000 for mine. i have about 10,000 more in it. i will put it up against either of those(except for top speed, dont think i could hit 210 ). and my evo is pretty weak compared to some of the bad azz evo's on this site.

I concur that 48,000 British Pounds = $86,250 American. Did you notice the side-bar at the end of the article, where it says that the EVO 400 is quicker 0 - 62 mph (100 km/h) by 2/10s of a second than a Lamborghini Murcielago? WOW is right.
Would you pay $86K for an EVO???
If it could beat a top of the line $300K, 12-cylinder Lambo, maybe so.
