i broke the remote on my 02 vw beetle, and they replaced it under warranty, the service guy told me if they didnt it wouldve cost me about 350 bucks. just to get a new one, and get it programmed. ouch. it was nice of them to cover it without any question though. i will hold on to my evo keys closely. thanks

how did you loose both key's at once? Seriosly, sounds kinda odd. Would have cost you a lot less if you kept your keys seperate, hopefully you will learn. that way you wouldnt have had to pay for the jimmy and towing.

Yup. While you have 2 keys now, you can get a 3rd cut out and program it yourself for free.
