I called them back and I spoke to Justin, nice guy and very polite. Found out they dont accept credit cards out of the US. My order never went thru because my credit card didnt go thru correctly but I think a email reply would help but was told their pc had problems. But my order was about 2 weeks ago so I guess its been down since? Who knows but oh wells I just need to find another vendor willing to accept my cards.

o yea, one more thing just to help u fellas out, saw this on the news a while back. great idea if any of u know a lawyer as a good friend that wont charge anything, by the way...

by law u DO NOT have to pay any restocking fee, wether it be at best buy, or an internet site. if they dont want to accept the return, get a lawyer and they will

wish i wouldve known this when i wanted to return my exedy twin plate to lancershop and they only wanted to give me 900 back, but now that i do know this, i hope everyone can benefit from this and other vendors ripping people off for a "restocking" fee.

I'm gonna need some more info on this. Sounds like "NET LAWYER" stuff. But by all means if its real please show me proof.

no doubt man. Huge companies do this. Home Depot, you name it, for special orders. i'm pretty sure their corporate lawyers would have done their research on this one before illegally charging people fees to restock. they would have so many lawsuits on their hands it wouldn't even be funny.

As far as lancershop online, i just ordered a short shifter kit with brass bushings and i got an order number via email the same day i placed the order. i haven't received it yet (just ordered on the 20th) since i live in Calgary, prolly take a little bit to get thru customs and such. hopefully everything will arrive properly.

just ordered the under hood shifter bushings and I spoke with justin. He seems to be a really nice guy. I think if some of you who are haveing problems would just call and talk to them the problem would be taken care of. I'll post again if i recieve my product on time. I hate gettin paid on friday. I always order stuff as soon as I get home. and then it takes 5 days instead of 3 to get here. oh well. can't have you cake and eat it to.

I bought some goods online, but when I received them I decided I didn't want them. Now the company has charged me for return postage and a restocking fee.

A restocking fee is illegal under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000. If the retailer wants to make you pay for the return postage it has to make this clear in its Terms and Conditions, otherwise it can't charge you.

thats for all UK/EU orders, trying to find the usa version of that, i heard it on the news a couple months ago, cant remember where exactly or how it was worded. so for all u UK guys, restock fee can not be charged for u, but the return postage can be only if its specified.

gonna go try to find where i heard this on the news though.... post not done

All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Return shipping and insurance is the responsibility of the customer. <--- needs to be changed to exclude mass, and the UK, quote from lancershop's terms of sale

The Federal Trade Commission today announced a proposed consent decree with Dynamic Wheels and Tires, Inc., a California-based seller of fancy automobile wheels, rims, and tires, and Gary Jerjerian, the company's owner and manager.

The consent decree would resolve FTC allegations that Dynamic and Jerjerian violated the FTC's Mail or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule by charging consumers a 20 percent "restocking fee" after consumers cancelled their telephone orders because of delayed shipments, or after consumers refused to pay inflated prices for their completed orders and the company decided not to ship at all.

precedent set by the ftc for all you guys who canceled ur orders or were delayed shipping and didnt want the items anymore, just some more info for u guys

I've had no problems. They do a good job following up and they are up front with what parts are going to take some time to get. Plus, and this is huge--they do answer the phone. Very few Internet retailers or "e-tailers" do this.

I've tried to order from lancershop for a couple of items, but I was left on hold forever without ever getting to someone. I just kept on hearing "thanks for calling masterminds" or whatever... I took my money elsewhere and got all my products.

I ordered both over the phone and interbet from lancershop 6-7 times; always had great service. there lancershop products on the other hand.... the lancershop pillar gauge pod melted in the texas sun. i was going to get the lancershop shortshifter, but might go with kartboy or b&m if their quality is the same as their pods.
