I thought I was the only one that had this prob. please fix link cause my cluster is dark as hell and I think I have either a blown bulb or a faulty dimmer switch.

If you have a blown bulb, will your dimmer still work?

If you want a really bright gauge cluster, you need to look no further than replacing your existing bulbs with these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=42613

I did this on my 300zx, and it improved the dash lighting 200%, no BS.

BTW, make sure you get HYPER WHITE, not the blue. The hyper white will illuminate your gauge cluster like no reg 194 bulb can.

How many bulbs are required for the whole dash?

negative ghost rider, the pattern is full. The evo's cluster does not use 194 bulbs. So don't waste your $$.

Sorry bout the link, it's fixed now

what happens if you don't color the bulbs red? I want to do this without coloring it red.

Cool mod, but I must be the only one that actually dims his gauge cluster lights... even with the red tint I find that having them too bright affects my night vision.
