Third pic down, you can see the tape. When I put mine on It also had a couple strips on both sides of the antenna and at the outer edges I believe.

Great, thanks, yeah, if no one replied, I was just going to try to imitate that third picture. Anything else I should know before I take the plunge?

Did Rexspeed provide instructions?

Otherwise, be gentle with the clips when popping the trim - a few of mine broke, but other claimed to not have any issues. Some of mine popped easily, and others broke whether I pulled slow or quick.

Nope, Rexpeed didn't provide any instructions or anything, haha... But as soon as the weather gets nicer I'm going to give it a shot, I can always buy more clips later I suppose, if any break.

If I can find the Mitsubishi instructions for the installation, I'll scan them and email them to you if you'd like. Send an email to EJEvo8 *at* yahoo *dot* com.

I'm going to be installing the rexpeed vg on my car this week, and all the pictures in this thread are no longer here, so if anyone has some instructions they could pm me or something, that would be awesome. I'm pretty sure I can figure it out, but instructions are always nice.

i just put mine on a couple weeks ago, couldn't find instructions either, but it was very easy. (I recommend having a friend help you.) take off the weather strip. Do this slowly and dont break the clips. (I think the trick is to not pull straight up. Turn it slightly to get the clip to unsnap - I believe the clips face outwards towards the door panels respectively). Only remove up to the part where the VG sits under the weather strip. line it up before you rip the tape off. then reverse the steps. good luck.

Ya I'm about to install mine as well. The pictures no longer show up, can anyone tell me what the ideal amount or placing of the double sided tape is on the Rexpeed VG?
