becuase its a total of 8 bolts/clips and makes it 100 times easier i dont even know if you would be able to do it with the bumper on....? it would definitly not b as easy

 

I took all my pipes before while the bumper is on.... Not hard at all....

 

wish this had been posted before i installed mine last week. very good write up. I never thought about removing the starter, looks like that was the way to do it because we had a hell of a time on that up- pipe. this should make it a lot easier for anyone else.

 

eh o well i know mine is all tight and perfect on thats cool that u can do it without taking off the bumper though kinda nice to know how to tak it off so easily. incase u have to later

a kit i made my self i got the battery for 77$ shipped and then fabricated the tray its almost identical to the one being sold on here for 75$ the tray that is it cost me a total of 90$ i love it

so your car was running less boost after this was installed? would this have the same affect on a stock evo? if so, why? also, can you run this with the stock airbox?

 

honestly i cant answer y it was running less boost i, assuming since thier is so much more room but i really dont know .... and yes the helix kit does work with the stock box and bat! its an amazing kit

It's all physics guys. Volume vs pressure. If you have more volume (helix pipes), pressure will go down.
