jdm mr headlights problem

jdm mr headlights problem
ok i just got in my jdm mr lights for my mr US spec and when i put them in i found out that the fog lights on the US mr wont fit in the mr headlight housing it looks like the hole is bigger then the light itself... i can fit the 9005 that is the high beam in the same slot as the fog light slot does anyone know if i need to change to a 9005 bulb for the foglights?? has anyone heard of this prob already?? any feed back would help i dont know of anyone who has an evo here that i can compare it to so u guys r about the only feed back i have... thanx for the help guys

It's not a problem. The Japanese spec MR headlight housing uses a 9006 bulb for the foglights. The US spec MR uses an H11 bulb. Go buy a set of 9006 bulbs and adapter harness and you should be set after a little cutting and splicing.
