I had the PC680 in the Evo back when I had an AVIC-N1 in it, and it seemed to be okay. Obviously I didn't try to run the AVIC-N1 for more than a few minutes on battery power; I figure as long as the alternator is running, it should be fine. Of course if you're going to run a big phatt amp and boomin' enclosed sub in the trunk, my question would be why do you even care about weight reduction?

Good I don't think upgraded speakers will make any difference to the battery.

Has anyone seen the new Braille ALL-SEASON lightweight battery?

I was wondering if this would be safer for the winter season.

I have an AMS small battery kit and whatever battery they use has done pretty good so far with cold starts. The kit itself is really nice but it's some what expensive.

The Deka only has 160 CCA, while the Braille has 486 CCA. Unless I am mistaken by the model #.

More Recent Braille Battery Install Thread???

Is it just me or are none of the pics in this how to opening? I found another on but that one just showed what the battery looked like in the car... no real how to info. I am curious as I am swaping out my Buschur Mini for this set up once the mount comes in and I don't want to duplicate posts.
