I have a set of stock EVO HID headlights... BRAND NEW! still in boxes ...never used!!!

Does it affect performance if you use the non-HID headlamp assembly or do you need to purchase a set of HID headlamp assy's??

it does not affect performance to the point where you would go back to halogen. I haver an 06 and put HIDs in the regular headlights. the cutoff line is not the greatest in the world but its not bad at all. get a 6000k HID kit

really old thread... but i need to install HID's tomorrow on my evo but the pics are down. Anyone know where i can find another writeup with pics?

I just did mine a couple weeks ago. I have to say pulling the front bumper off was kind of a pain in the ***. If you're a newb ofcourse. All worth it, HID's look sick.
