ARC Filter

What do you use to wash them and do you need oil it? If you have to oil it, what type of oil to use?

Thanks

FYI the manufacturer only wants you to completely replace the filter element by buying a new one.

If you are adventurous and want to reuse the old one, just buy a K&N recharging kit from pep boys and follow the instructions there. Remember to keep the oil to a minimum, do not over-saturate.

Dont recommend any oiled filter for the evo. stock filter makes same power for the most part and oil can kill MAF sensors - its been reported many times by Evo owners.

I dont think you are supposed to oil the ARC filters. But that's on you.
