intake manifold.....

so this is not about an evo but i tought you guys might give me a hand..... last nite i was changing my frineds intake manifold on his 98 honda civic ex....well we got everything together all the hoses are conected and everything is fine...when we went to start it up it wouldnt start up the motor is cranking but no start. we checked if there was any spark and there wasnt does anyone know what could be wrong> or what i can do?

I'm betting its the coil.

yea thats what i was told..but whats funny is that we diddnt touch any of the ignition parts...just recently got a tune up so it was running fine before we started working on it..

Hondas are weird. I changed the fuel filter and spark plugs on my friends civic and it blew the coil. I had no idea how that happened since we were not even near the coil and spark plug changes shouldn't blow it out. I guess you should remove the batt before doing anything other than oil changes when you open the hood of that car.
