Hey all, I tried the toulene out and it was great. Just used a gallon and 2 gallons of gas to test and the car runs great. However one problem. I didnt take my time and spilled a little toulene on the tank and POSSIBLY dripped onto the body. I borrowed some windex from the gas station within 5 minutes of the spill and and quickly went across the street after another 5 mins to a self car wash and hosed the tank and body with hot water. The tank and paint looks okay but I want to be sure.

Its been raining quite a bit in Chicago, so combined with my cleanup attempts, I think the toulene didnt do any harm to my paint or clearcoat, I hope.

i just could never imagine dumping in paint solvent into the tank of my evo... the toluene just doesn't seem worth it. Even thought the prices are nuts these days, straight 93 oct gasoline is the only thing going into my car!

Dude:

Not paint solvent - they're all petro chems.

Raise your octane level (to around 94) and FEEL the performance.

Nothing more to be said.
