HELP: Custom intake tube

I've seen people install these on there cars, but am having trouble doing this myself.

I'm talking about putting a 2" or 3" flexible tubing that starts in the front bumper and ends up under your aftermarket open-element intake. Bringing cooler air from the front of your car up to the intake.

Don't think this thing is worth anything on a dyno, but I'm sure it helps on cool nights. I have seen EvoDave sell a kit that fits in the opening on the drivers side front bumper on an Evo 8 but didn't want to drop $160.

Would like suggestions. Hope I explained it well enough for you guys to understand. YES, I HAVE SEARCHED.

Thanks,

Jason

All you need is some tubing that can sneak through the ACD brackets and UICP. I just tried to put on the EvoDave duct, and while it's a very nice piece, it won't fit on ACD cars. You could get something to work, but you would need another mold. The tubing in the EvoDave kit is like 2.5", you have to tug and yank on it to squeeze it through there, but it does fit...so I will be extending that to the bumper.

Yeah, i purchased some 3" diameter aluminum tubing that is extremely flexible, but don't think it will fit from a visual inspection.

I think the tubing is special dryer vent tubing...........lol.

I'll take it back and look for 2 or 2.5" tubing. Thanks
