Bumping an old thread. I just did this for the second time on my second Evo. Works like a charm, people just do it. It works.

Did you guys remove the stock ground wires? Most of them are going into a tapped harness then underneath the fuse box.

You could but just be sure to run the same route again. I cannot strees hwo well this works. Your Idle improves, your volts stay constant even with the A/C on. It just works man, do it.
