Links to cam install instructions?
Anyone have links to show installing cams on the Evo (or any 4G63 for that matter)? I am getting a set of 264 cams and will be installing them myself, assuming I can find decent info.

Ya know, moderators who kneejerk shifting posts to various and sundry ghost-town forums sure as hell don't make me want to hang out here.
This was posted in Engine in the hopes that someone there would point me in the direction of information on the web somewhere. Shifting it to Installs merely insures that I will never get a damn reply. Pretty damn irritating.

I will be doing some 272's (and maybe a few other things) this weekend. I will be ready with the digicam and a stack of diskettes, so have no fear; the info's on the way. ![Smilie](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Well not my forum but an hour and a half is not bad for a response.
I don't know who doesn't just use the search or new posts feature anyway.
Not to mention the mod was nice enough to leave the redirect behind so anyone in Enigne would see the post.

I have the 272's in. I didn't take a whole lot of shots b/c it would just be the engine bay; we've all seen that...
I did take a few photos of the crucial stuff, though.
Very detailed instructions coming soon.
BTW, the cams definitely flow more.
They DO sound very lumpy at idle. Somewhat like the heavily cammed V8 stuff.
It gets a few looks on the street.
Also, it idles fine. I adjusted the fueling a little bit (eManage) but it works without it as well. It will wander around a bit but it's not a big deal. I did not put in valvesprings because they changed the design from earlier stuff. <shrug>
NOTE: EVO 4~6 cams will work if you have a cam sensor bolt to fit in it. It is slightly smaller but otherwise they are exactly the same.
