Dash Lights NEED HELP PLEASE

I recently installed a aftermarket radio into my evo8. The radio works fine. The only problem is my HVAC lights and light where my intercooler sprayer button is and light where the dimmer switch wont turn on when I turn my lights on. All the outside lights work fine. I also noticed the clock stays fully bright when the lights are on instead of dimming down like it should. Somehow the inside of my car isn't getting the signal when my lights are turned on. I checked all my fuses under the driver, and they all looked good.!?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the first time I turned on everthing, they were light for about 1 second then went out.

Please help!

I don't know if it has something to do with illumination wire or what?
This is the wire diamgram I used

Constant12V+=Red/black
accessory seitched 12V+=blue/yellow
ground=green/white
radio illumination=black/yellow
antenna trigger=yellow
LFS+=red/white
LFS-=red/blue
RFS+=red
RFS-=green
LRS+=white/blue
LRS-=yellow/red
RRS+=light green
RRS-= yellow green

Please help I'm stuck untill I get some answers! THANK YOU

OK I found a bad fuse under the hood. I thought the fuse would be in the box by the driver inside. O well

Same thing happened to me. It was the 7.5 fuse in the engine bay fuse box that has the two lights facing away from eachother.

What I want to know is, what did I do to make the fuse blow out. Was I driving too fast?

Which lights are you talking about? The blower selector/ hot/cold selector area? It's gotta be that fuse, or something is unplugged.

Is the left rear tailight and driver front indicator light out? If it is then its the 7.5 in the fuse box that's closer to the front ecu.

Something's gotta be unplugged. Or, maybe just not pushed in far enough. I can't think of anything else. One time my A/C went out and I thought I blew it. It just ended up being that when I installed the AVC-R, I pulled the A/C power wire out. Take the dash a part and have a good look and push every plug you see into it's socket.

I've located my own blunder. I've got the factory RS/MR triple guages. When I was reinstalling everything, I forgot to connect the ground cable. Whoops! All is well now. 1 1/2 weeks have passed with no fuses blowing.

Update: Frick! It blew out again! I found another possible cause. It looked like the antifreeze was over flowing onto the wires for the oil temerature sensor/oil drian plug. Still, fuse blew again!

For me, this seems to only happen when I'm making passes at the track or just generally hitting the gas hard. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone having the same issue under the same circumstance? It looks like I don't take care of my car because the center console, tailight, and paking lights are out. Not sexy......

UPDATE 2: I used a "T" tap for the AVC-R's tachometer off of the ECU. That wire (G-W) happends to be connected somehow to that #20 fuse. I revved the engine and the fuse blows out at around 6000rpm with the lights on. The "T" tap cut through four of the copper strands.

I just rewired everything including my CD player which was the problem it was grounded to the same ground as the dash and was jacking it up so grounded everything to their own grounds and now doesn't give me problems
