i had this proble to what i ended up doing was deactivating the autolock feature on the alarm ( where you start the car the doors lock and when you turn it off the door unlock) problematic for turbo timers because when the car shuts off a minute and a half later the doors unlock. now what happens is (with mine) is the car shuts off the alarms disarms and 30 sec. later due to the passive arming of the alarm it re-arms itself.
Hope this helps

There's no easy way around this, you cannot arm the alarm when the car is running without messing with the wires. So just disable the autolock feature on the alarm (because if you don't it will unlock the doors after the TT shuts off the car), make sure the autoarm feature is turn ON, and just manually lock the door after you take out the key. This way you car is lock after you leave the car with it still running, and about half a minute later after the TT shuts it off, the autoarm will arm the alarm.

I am working on a simple circuit with a couple of diodes to get around it so that the alarm thinks the car is off when you remove the key. I will probably be able to post a diagram of it up once I get it done. Need to get a harness for my TT first however.
I just realized that there might be a problem with the shock sensor being shaken when the car is running or shuts off. I will have to test it when I get that harness.

You should turn off the auto-lock/auto-unlock door feature, or else your car would be vulnerable for that 30 secs after the TT shuts off, anyone could go into your car, pop the hood and cut the alarm.
