How do I remove the CD player
I am trying to figure out how I remove the stock Evo 8 CD player. Anyone know how?

It's really easy.
Remove the climate control knobs. Remove the screws that are in the climate sockets.
Remove two screws from the cubby hole below the climate controls. They point up. Remove the cubby.
Now stick a thin screwdriver between the center piece (the smooth silver part that the climate contols and radio are in) and the rest of the dash. Pop it off, you'll see the screws for the head unit.
Remove, done.
If you want far more detailed directions, check audio and security (might be under US Lancer stuff) It should be a sticked thread, right at the top of the list.

I got it, that was a peice of cake. I think the CD player will look alot better down where the cubby hole used to be! I ll post pics when I'm done.
