thanks psphinx81! You save me some trouble. Notice near the last step it states "the plunger must not move at all". One of em moved just a tad when I filled it. This was not acceptable to me. I put it back in, and got it bled so it is solid. It should feel like a plunger doesnt even exist. So make sure it does not move AT ALL if you want to be safe. Hope this helps!

Installed the cams and used the op's method, no diesel and it worked perfectly. Ticked like crazy on start up, did the "rev" procedure and now it is perfect. No ticking at all, just wanted to share that with you guys, thanks for all the help!

I cannot move release the check ball for the life of me. I've tried with paperclips and allen keys and fished all around the inside of the lifter. I am trying to depress the lifter head while pushing on the paperclip/allen key and it is not budging. All 8 of the exhaust cam lifters will not move at all...
Has anyone else had this problem? Should I just not even try anymore and consider them bled? I'm going from stock cams to Kelford 272's.

Anybody notice the plunger drop after installing the cams?
There was no noise prior to pulling them out. After installing them with no movement in the plunger, the cam lobes pressed them down. This is obviously more pressure than I can place with my fingers.
