Cusco rear strut bar installation question

Hi,

Couple of quick questions for people who have installed the Cusco rear strut bar in the trunk (aluminum or carbon fibre). Much appreciated.

1. Is the bar a direct bolt-in, meaning no drilling required?

2. Is the middle bar itself removable (when luggage space is needed)? The bar appears to be attached to the mounting plates by bolts. This is different a design from others such as Ralliart, which is a one-piece construction.

Thanks a bunch.

yes it is a direct bolt on part.

you can remove the middle section if you want. I actually removed the middle section to install it while I was doing the coilovers so that when I put the carpeting and stuff back in the trunk I didn't have to work around the middle section.

You will still have to cut some of the carpeting around the tops of the strut towers to be able to put the middle section in, or you could also no put the carpeting back in.
