^ that pic is a pretty good one of the underside of the car with everything out.

V this one is of the pile of stuff I had to remove to get everything out. And i gotta say one thing, Mitu sure didnt want that lower cover flying away, there have got to be 20 or so clips in that bad boy.

here is the center diff sitting quietly in the corner. This guy is simple to remove. If you get lucky and the half shaft comes out with the axle all you need to do is remove the bolts and slide this off the tranny. Then you can drop it down and slide the rear drive shaft yoke out of the end of it.

All these pics make me want to tear into the car and look at its guts. Zeus, let's use yours as a guinea pig.

No problem, bring the new clutch and digital camera with you... Exedy twin disc prefered, but an ACT set up will do...

I didn't say anything about putting a new clutch in. I just said I wanted to rip the car apart to look at the guts.

Any more pics? Good stuff.

I can get pics of that next time. And a pic of the steering column disconnent. I did this install for $600. including fluids. (not including the clutch parts) I hear its a fairly cheap price in comparison.

Thanks for the pics and info. I'll probably have someone do it. Having looked over the service manual it seems pretty straight forward, but I don't look forward to having to do a swap on my back. I don't mind paying top dollar to have it done. My problem is finding someone competent, reliable and does quality work. Too bad you're too far.

Was it a replacement for a bad clutch or just an upgrade to an aftemarket setup? If it was a bad clutch, how many miles did the car have?

Hey Toby, it's Justin Who's car was this and what kind of clutch? Looks like they have some other mods done too. I've only seen 1 other Evo in our area with mods done to it so far. But then again I have not seen a lot of em...

Justin
