if the needle is not on zero then the gauge might have been hit during shipping or your ground is not working.

There was a bad batch delivered pretty recently. I think defi has addressed this problem and recalled them.

Mine seems to sit at 1psi or so when the car is off. That pretty typical?

I get negative when I'm coasting and/or slowing down and all.

Argh!!

I just got my second gauge (first one RMAed) and this one is off too. It sits at ~3-4 psi when it's off, and I know it's off because my GReddy digital isn't displaying the same thing. I know the GReddy is displaying correctly because it was the right boost when I got my car dynoed.

Somebody is either doing a craptastic job with QC over at Defi Japan, or else the carriers doing the delivery are doing a great job banging these gauges up before they arrive.

Blonde, the boost is a mechanical gauge. You have one too, if I remember correctly? I imagine the ground/illumination wires are solely for lighting the gauge, and not actually affecting the function of the gauge..

i am not too sure about that to be honest with you. my gauge is dead on 0 so i really didnt play with it too much. all i know is that on my last car somebody dropped my greddy boost on the floor and it was off by 2psi ever since.

i really hope that DEFI will take care of you guys because it shouldn't be this way.

Well, I called up EDO performance, got on the phone with Ben. Since my gauge came reading 3-4psi when I got the box, something must have happened when it shipped over. Damn FEDEX!

He was cool about it, so he's gonna try and see what he can do...

I have the same problem and realized it after i am done with the install.
I thought once I start the car, it would go back to 0 but it never did.

I hope mvp can do something about it because the box is gone already. (trash)
