Autometer Boost Gauge
I installed my Autometer Boost Gauge this past weekend which I got from Buschur Racing. After getting the vacuum tube all connected and attaching it to the gauge itself, I found the readings are completely off!
When I'm idling I'm already running 5 PSI and boosting up to 30 PSI in 2nd gear (4-5K). When my engine is off, the needle defaults to 14-15 PSI.
I'm pretty sure I have the vacuum tube hooked up right with no leaks, when I detach the tube and gauge from each other while the car is idling, I can feel a good amount of suction.
This is the 0-35 PSI gauge, I chose that over the vacuum/boost gauge (vacuum - 30PSI) while I was at Buschur.
A little extra information, I found it weird that the vacuum tube was really tiny compared to the tube I had to use to connect to the FPR. I had to get a special connector to connect the skinny vacuum tube to the T-connector.
Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong? Is it my gauge or my vacuum tube?

tiny vacuum tube should have nothing to do with it...have your gauge checked otherwise try a different source
if u have some kind of vac tree...pull it off of there
this maybe stupid but if the evo has a stock boost gauge splice it off of there

Thanks guys for your replies. I exchanged the gauage for a vacuum/boost gauge instead, we'll see how it goes.
Also I have the steering wheel mounting pod and when I was taking off the pod, I dropped a piece and lost it. It's the cylinder shaped piece that two screws attach to (from either side) to hold the pod onto the mounting bracket. Does anyone know where to get a replacement?
