I don't think any stereo will fit with the bezel. Mine didn't....although it's a kenwood, it should be same basic dimensions and mount points.

You are going to need a trim that comes with all Alpines that locks in place! All aftermarket heead units do not fit flush do to the stock head unit is very wide!

There is a pic on this page, notice the trim around the sound processor(top) and the head unit(bottom)! The pics are on page 3 http://www.sounddomain.com/id/evoguy ! Hope this helped! Good Luck!

thanks for the insight guys! but i do have that "trim" that your talking about and i see it being used on page 3.. I have a Alpine unit and it doesnt seem i can get the head unit forward enough to get the "trim" on... on top of that, the dash console seems to hit the outer (left/right side) metal "tabs" on my alpine unit.. should i just bend those tabs a little?

thanks for the instight again im sort of a stereo newbie

ok i see that you got the trim to fit on your alpine processor.. after putting the side mounting brackets on my Alpine unit i cant get the unit to sit forward enough (out of the dash console) to fit the trim to lock in... did you do any trimming or anything to the side mountiing brackets? am i missing someting here?

i had mine installed and the tech guy did add some other screw holes to the case side to be able to put the screws and bracket where you want , he first put them further up and inset the unit but it didnt look good since the edges were visible. i put it back and just attached the outer cover with velcro to hide the seams around the unit. i dont think any unit will fit perfect .

guys i got it to work.. on my Alpine unit i had to bend a couple of little "mounts" that stick out on the side.. after bending them forward, the dash console fit right over it

i had to shave mine with the dremel to get my alpine to fit. I wish i would have pu t it in the change compartment to take advantage of the tilt feature. Also, its really annoying right there in the center of the silver pastic crap. stands out
